After Rhaenyra Targaryen's victory in the Dance of Dragons and her ascent to the Iron Throne in 129 AC, her reign was plagued by widespread dissent and rebellion. Despite her initial triumph, the realm remained divided, and her hold on power weakened amidst assassination attempts and regional uprisings.

130ac: storming of the dragonpit
Chaos engulfed King's Landing as riots broke out following Queen Helaena's death, culminating in the storming of the Dragonpit where four dragons, including Syrax, were slain by a frenzied mob. In response, Queen Rhaenyra heightened security at Dragonstone, reinstating the Order of the Dragonkeepers under her stepdaughter Baela Targaryen to protect the remaining dragon eggs.

141ac: nigth of blood and fire
Queen Rhaenyra brought her son Jacaerys, her grandchildren, and Laena Velaryon to Dragonstone, where each child selected a dragon egg to hatch. By morning, three new dragons—Rhaegos, Aegarax, and Wildfyre— emerge, marking a pivotal moment in the Targaryen legacy.

144ac: the tourney at duskendale
To celebrate the birth of his only son, Gunthor the Older, hosts a grand tourney. Crown prince Jacaerys I Targaryen and his betrothed Baella Targaryen attend, bringing many to join the festivities. Seeing as how House Celtigar was slowly rising in power, Gunthor manages to broker a betrothal for his infant son and Lord Wlliam Celtigar's eleven year old daughter Celice.

153ac: reign of jacaerys i
Jacaerys I Targaryen ascends to the throne amidst widespread rumors questioning his legitimacy, leading to a divided realm. The conflict between Jacaerys' Blue faction and his half-brother Aegon's Red faction, intensified by internal Lannister rivalries, plunges Westeros into further chaos and civil strife.
House Velaryon still unhappy with Jacaerys's choice of breaking the betrothal between himself and his cousin Baela, chooses to back Aegon's Red faction, House Celtigar unsurprisingly supports Jacaerys, considering their kin is queen and House Darklyn. Well, they remain neutral.

156ac: the siege of the red keep
The realm is invited to visit King's Landing in honor to celebrate the Baelon's son, Gaemon's third nameday. Amongst the people are Lord Tommen Lannister and his goodsister Melissa Mallister. Things go sour however when a coup is held and amongst the victims are Melissa Mallister, the sister of the current Lord Mallister. The white eagle sends his brother to King's Landing to offer his services to find the culprit. Together with Lord Bryan Frey, they head off to the Capitol and are present at the trail of Aegon and Viserys Targaryen.
But what was odd was….Aegon’s son and daughter Rhaenor and Rhaenora are never found.

160ac: the way of salt and sea
The dreadful news of Laena’s death reaches Hightide. Having come to her end by her own dragon, she leaves behind four young children, the youngest only a week old. Baela Targaryen is heard weeping when a raven brings the letter announcing Laena’s passing. The woman who had already lost so much now had to say goodbye to the eldest child. However in order to soothe the ache her twin might feel, Rhaena takes the young babe to Hightide to be raised in the ways of salt and sea.

169ac: essos invades
As tensions in the Stepstones rise and Essosi factions seek to expand their influence, King Baelon I, unable to call on the Velaryon fleet due to a rift with House Velaryon, relies on lesser-experienced allies like Lord Gilbert Redwyne, Lady Laenna Celtigar, and Qylle Fowler to face the Triarchy's seasoned forces. Just when defeat seems imminent, sixteen-year-old Jacaerys Waters, against his mother’s wishes, arrives on his dragon Valaeris, setting the Essosi fleet aflame and, alongside the Redwyne fleet, turns the tide, securing control over the Stepstones.
However, the true aim of the conflict remains shrouded in mystery, as rumors spread that the invasion is meant to support the hidden descendants of Aegon—Jacaerys' half-brother—specifically his twins, Rhaenora and Rhaenor, and their children.

170ac: winter arrives
A harsh winter devastated Westeros, leading to widespread famine and death, with House Tully, Forrester, Baratheon, and Martell among those hit hardest. Lord XY Baratheon emerged as a strong leader, quelling unrest in the Stormlands, while Prince Trystane Martell's death in Dorne marked the season's toll on even the southern most regions. It is also in this year that thr dowager queen Jirelle Celtigar succums to the shivers.

177 AC: the legitimation of the royal bastards
King Baelon I, legitimizes his bastards, granting them noble titles and lands, which fuels speculation about his chosen heir. Amidst the growing tensions and shifting alliances, Jacaerys Targaryen is exiled to Harrenhal after a conflict with his brother Vaemond, leading him to seek support across the Riverlands to bolster his claim to the throne.

177 AC: a crab's bravery
Having seen the mighty beasts fly over King's landing and the stories her mother told her of how House Targaryen and House Velaryon rode dragons, Edwynne Celtigar sets sail to Dragonstone, unbeknownst to both her parents and the king. Whispers say that Rhaegos had been restless and extra volatile that night, breaking away from his chains the moment Edwynne set foot upon the shore of the Targaryen ancestral home.
Almost immediately she is taken by surprise when the Night Fury lands before her upon the sands. The girl, however, shows no fear. Hand outstretched and eyes closed, she waits for her possible end to come, only to feel the warm scales of the beast calmly pressed against her palm and the dragon soothed....

178 AC: a new heir is named
King Baelon I, weakened by illness, names his bastard son Vaemond Targaryen as heir, causing outrage among many nobles who refuse to accept a bastard on the throne. The annoujncement sparks a mass exodus of dissenting lords, while Baelon's mistress Ilyn and her daughter Naerys, secretly join the departing faction led by those opposed to the new succesion, amongst them are Aegon and Leymond Westerling, Jon and Jeyne Corbray and Lady XX Arryn.

179 AC: the death of a peacock
After months of silence, Lady Ilyn Serrett finally appeared at Summerhall following a direct summons from King Baelon, much to the displeasure of her rival, Cerysse Baratheon. Soon after Cerysse’s departure for Oldtown, Ilyn was found dead in her chambers under suspicious circumstances, fueling whispers of foul play.

180 AC: the arrival of court at harrenhal
As King Baelon I’s health deteriorates, he defies all advice and orders his carriages to be prepared for a journey to Harrenhal, despite being bedridden and gravely ill. With his court in tow, he sets off to confront his estranged son, Prince Jacaerys, who has remained isolated in his crumbling fortress for two years.
