FEATURED ROLES AND LORD PARAMOUNT
Featured roles: while we cannot expect you to be in sim 24/7, we do ask for you to be active if you chose a featured role. These are roles many people want and do come with a certain responsibility. This includes hosting events, council etc. It is why we will be doing activity checks. Meaning if a player who holds a featured role or lord paramount, they will get activity checked when not notified and loose their role.

No staff member is allowed to take up a featured role or should sit upon the throne.

Should it occur that via rp, a staffmember becomes king, they will be asked to step down from their staff position effective immediately.

We kindly ask that all communication be directed through our ticket system, accessible via #tickets-and-sr. While we value private messages, we don't respond to them. And have been instructed by a very friendly dragon not to do so. Keep in mind, we are all volunteers and do deserve to right to "log off" from our duties. Utilizing the ticket system ensures prompt attention to your concerns or suggestions, preventing delays in responses.For urgent matters, you can also use the in-world group chat for a Staff Call / Mod Call.​

OOC vs IC Time

The time ratio we use is 2:1, which means 2 IC weeks pass for every 1 OOC week. Exceptions are pregnancy or simwide travel. We reserve the right to announce time-jumps in this way as-needed based on the evolving setting and RP storyline.

In this realm, what occurs within the confines of the story remains within those boundaries. Should there be any breaches such as God Modding or Meta-Gaming, it's imperative to seek the intervention of a moderator.

Currently we only allow each person to have either one noble or one smallfolk. Maybe in due time this is up for change

abandoning character​

Any players that come to staff with the announcement of quitting, your currently played character will be recast or put as NPC (if a high roles) after a 24-hour grace period. From hereon forth, if you go to staff in the heat of a moment and mention the word quit- your character will be taken from you and recast.

chat range: spying policy

We encourage everyone to participate actively in scenes within our IC zones. To ensure fairness and inclusivity, please accompany your presence in a chat-range with an entry post or emote. This helps acknowledge your character's presence and ensures you can rightfully claim knowledge of ongoing discussions. We kindly ask that you refrain from 'camping' near scenes without actively participating. Those wishing to 'spy' are given one round to post in, must emote that they are actively spying in every post round on those gathered and role their intrigue to see if they are found out.

If you need a place to park your character, please consider doing so either in your rental space or in the designated landing zone. ​

avatars and general appearance​

Considering this is an adult sim, all avatars must look human and be over 18. This rule will be followed up very strictly. If you are not sure, give us a poke. We will not accept any anime, furry, non-human etc looking avatars.

We have an established height chart for reference. Unless explicitly approved, Ser Duncan the Tall serves as the maximum exception. Please refer to this chart when determining height measurements. Those found in violation of the height expectations, may be asked to conform to those expectation. If found in repeated violation, risk the chance of being removed from the sim and their character recast. 

While we cannot gatekeep appearances, we reserve the right to contact you if we think your avatar does not meet the requirements.

Grouptags: Please ensure you wear the appropriate group tags while in our sim. A designated sim group is available for you to join at the landing zone.

rentals

Should you be banned from the sim, abandon your character, leave the sim, disappear, the rental will be terminated with no refund and your items returned to you.

story request​

We ask you think before you submit however and have patience. We're doing our best to get back to you as quickly as possible. If you haven't heard back from us after a week. Give us a poke.​

respecting staff

Our staff members are volunteers who dedicate their time and effort to creating a welcoming and enjoyable space for roleplay. We kindly ask that all interactions with them remain respectful and polite. Harassment, rudeness, or disruptive behavior toward staff will not be tolerated. Let’s work together to keep this community a positive and inclusive place for everyone.

Rule Against Metagaming, Powergaming, and Godmodding

Metagaming: Players must keep in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC) knowledge separate. Using information your character would not reasonably know, such as details from private conversations, DM notes, or character sheets, to influence in-game decisions is strictly prohibited.

Powergaming: Players must roleplay fairly and allow for meaningful interaction. Forcing actions on others without giving them a chance to respond, creating overpowered characters with no weaknesses, or dictating the outcome of a scenario without collaboration is not allowed.

Godmodding: Players cannot control other characters, NPCs, or the game world beyond what is reasonable for their character. You may describe your character’s intent, but the final outcome is determined by the game mechanics, DM, or the affected player’s consent.

Violations of these rules will be addressed by the owner or moderation team, and offenses may result in ban

rerolling characters​

If you decide that your story has finished for your character, your character has died, they were sent back home for whatever reason; you want to reroll. No problemo! Happy you wish to continue with us. There are however a few conditions:

1. Your new character cannot be directly related to or associated with your previous character's family.
    

2. Your new character must belong to a different region than your previous one.
    

3.  Your new character's storyline should not intersect with any ongoing plots involving your old character or any alternate characters.
    

4.  Simply abandoning your character will not grantee you get a new character, we understand that sometimes it feels like the end and you have nowhere to go with them. If there are some OOC reasons behind it, open a ticket. Talk to us, we might be able to help.
    

5.  You are only allowed one reroll per month. If your character meets their demise through in-character means (such as player versus player or player versus environment encounters), you may reroll after one out-of-character week.
