129 ac: the end of the dance

After the Dance of the Dragons, the Riverlands are in shambles, with House Tully facing difficulties in restoring order. Seeing a chance to rise, House Mallister, with their financial backing, calls for a moot, urging a change in leadership. Despite their confidence, the vote remains in favor of House Tully, as the Riverlords' loyalty holds firm. However, this moment plants the first seeds of rivalry between the two houses.

136ac: unlikely alliance

Ironborn raids along the Northern and Riverlands coasts prompt House Stark and House Mallister to take up arms, with Lymond Mallister leading the charge despite receiving no immediate aid from House Tully. Unexpectedly, House Lannister joins the fight, leading to the Ironborn's defeat and the subsequent betrothal of Loreon Lannister to Melissa Mallister.

138ac: a wedding between a lion and an eagle

The wedding of Melissa Mallister and Loreon Lannister at Casterly Rock is a grand affair, with bannermen from both the Riverlands and Westerlands in attendance, highlighted by a lavish week-long tourney. However, the festivities take a sour turn when Lord Frey and the Tully brothers, deep in their cups, disrupt the celebration by accusing House Mallister of seeking to take the title House Tully currently holds in the Riverlands.

140 AC: the disappearance of oscar and kermit tully

After the war, Kermit and Oscar Tully, restless and unsuited for the quiet life the life of a lord offers, not after the pair grew up amidst the chaos of the Dance, leave the Riverlands and their title for Essos. Once there they establish the Stormbreakers, a sellword company. However, they vanish without a trace, leaving their wives, Catelyn Frey, and Ella Vance, to raise their children alone and become the regents to House Tully.

153ac: reign of jacaerys i

Jacaerys I Targaryen ascends to the throne amidst widespread rumors questioning his legitimacy, leading to a divided realm. The conflict between Jacaerys' Blue faction and his half-brother Aegon's Red faction, intensified by internal Lannister rivalries, plunges Westeros into further chaos and civil strife. The houses in the Riverlands, in their own strife, proclaim neutrality in the growing conflict.

156ac: the siege of the red keep

The realm is invited to visit King's Landing in honor to celebrate the Baelon's son, Gaemon's third nameday. Amongst the people are Lord Tommen Lannister and his goodsister Melissa Mallister. Things go sour however when a coup is held and amongst the victims are Melissa Mallister, the sister of the current Lord Mallister. The white eagle sends his brother to King's Landing to offer his services to find the culprit. Together with Lord Bryan Frey, they head off to the Capitol and are present at the trail of Aegon and Viserys Targaryen.

But what was odd was….Aegon’s son and daughter Rhaenor and Rhaenora are never found.

170 AC: Winter arrives

A harsh winter ravaged the realm. The Riverlands are hit especially hard, leaving many houses struggling with famine and loss. As resources dwindle and many join the Stranger, House Frey finds itself in a succession problem as all male heirs are taken by winter fever. In a house full of women, thirteen-year-old Lady Frey takes up the seat as head of House Frey and Lady of the Crossing.

177 AC: the arrival of a dragon in harrenhal

After being exiled by his father to Harrenhal, Jacaerys Targaryen brooded in the cold, shadowed halls of his new keep, but soon he takes to the skies, flying over the Riverlands, seeking to rally support for his cause. Visiting lords and ladies whose castles held memories of old alliances, he charmed and persuaded them, until the green dragon banner of his house began appearing in taverns across the region.

180 AC: the arrival of court at harrenhal

As King Baelon I’s health deteriorates, he defies all advice and orders his carriages to be prepared for a journey to Harrenhal, despite being bedridden and gravely ill. With his court in tow, he sets off to confront his estranged son, Prince Jacaerys, who has remained isolated in his crumbling fortress for two years.

House Tully of Riverrun is one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms. Their sigil is a silver trout leaping on a striped field of blue and mud red.

House Tully follows the Faith of the Seven and worships in a sept found inside their seat of Riverrun. The godswood of Riverrun is used for relaxation instead of religious purposes.

Tully funeral customs decree that a deceased member is placed on a small boat. Men might be clad in their armor and surcoat, with a wooden sword and shield. They are placed on their cloak, among stones to make the boat heavy in the water, and driftwood, kindling and scraps of parchment to allow it to catch fire. In honor of the Faith, seven men are chosen to push the funeral boat to the water. Using a flaming arrow, the boat is lit afire.

House Frey of the Crossing is a noble house of the riverlands. Their main seat is the Twins, a pair of castles on each bank of the northern Green Fork of the Trident that serves as a vital bridge across the river. The lord of the house is called the Lord of the Crossing.

Their sigil is two blue towers united by a bridge on silver-grey, representing the Twins.

The strategic location of the Twins has allowed the house to become quite wealthy, and House Frey rules over wider domains and can call upon more soldiers than their liege lords, House Tully of Riverrun.
