Flee is an opposed roll used in combat situations where a character attempts to escape from a fight. It requires an opponent.
Sparring is a non-lethal opposed roll that enables two or more players to engage in combat without losing health points. It can be used during story progression or in non-lethal events where success or failure is the primary objective. It uses the opposed menu of attack vs defense.
Initiative is the combat initiation button that signals a player's readiness for battle, and it's mandatory in combat scenes.
Attack is a lethal opposed roll where the attacker's roll is pitted against the defender's defense; upon success, it deducts one Health point from the losing defender.
Healing is a function for players wishing to heal others—it requires a roll of 10 or higher to succeed. If successful, the healing action restores 1 Health point to the target player automatically.
